Introducing Indonesia is the product of a unique partnership between the corporate community of the United States and Indonesia represented by their principal bi-national business organizations: the American Indonesian Chamber of Commerce( US) and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, US Committee (Indonesia), also known as KIKAS.

Winner's Tour

In the original Scholastic publication of this material, a contest was included. Students were asked to write a 300 word essay discussing why Indonesia was important to the US. 6 student winner's were chosen as well as their teachers and parents for a 14 day trip throughout Indonesia in August of 1996.
